Kari Harbaugh, CSPHA
Senior Product Consultant, HCE, Direct Supply
Kari has been working with Direct Supply for over 15 years and in her role as a Sr. Consultant for healthcare equipment for the last 8 years. She's a specialist in safe patient handling and mobility practices and is certified as a Safe Patient Handling Associate. In her role she works closely with the product management team, and manufacturers of beds, mattresses, lifts and transfer devices. She prides herself on knowing the pros and cons of each piece of equipment to best help customers select the right products for their building, their residents, their staff and their budget.
Laura Hastings, OTR/L
Customer Success Manager, SafelyYou
Laura is a registered and licensed occupational therapist in CA and a Certified Dementia Practitioner. She comes to SafelyYou with extensive experience managing rehabilitation departments within assisted living and memory care communities. Laura has served as the point of contact for falls prevention, OT intervention and staff trainings. Prior experience includes acute rehab, traumatic brain injury, skilled nursing and outpatient settings.
Glen Xiong, MD
Chief Medical Officer, SafelyYou
Dr. Xiong earned his medical degree from UC Davis and completed his residency training in Internal Medicine and Psychiatry at Duke University Medical Center. He is certified by the American Medical Directors Association in Post-Acute and Long-term Care Medicine (2006, 2016). He provides clinical care at the UC Davis Medical Center, and in Skilled Nursing and Assisted Living Facilities.

Caroline comes to SafelyYou with over 18 years of experience as a licensed physical therapist, working in Senior Healthcare for the past 13 years. She has 15 years of leadership experience as a clinical operator, supporting business and clinical growth in post-acute rehabilitation healthcare settings. Caroline has provided expertise in clinical training, consulting, and facility build-outs in the expansion of U.S. based senior care into international markets. She’s currently helping to lead the growth and expansion of SafelyYou as the Director of Customer Success, supporting fall reduction strategies, implementation, and overall customer engagement.
